DJVU and PDF

Some notes to myself on working with DJVU and PDF.
To convert a DJVU file to PDF:
- Download djvulibre for windows.
- Use
ddjvu.eve -format=pdf -page=1-10 infile.djvu outfile.pdf
- Manual: http://djvu.sourceforge.net/doc/man/ddjvu.html Notice in particular docs about quality, using JPEG compression etc.

To convert a PDF file to DJVU:
- Could use pdf2djvu
- This is nice: it preserves hyperlinks etc. in the PDF file. Definitely worth playing with the
dpi option, as the default often produces rough looking text. A dpi of 600 seems a nice compromise.
- Usage:
pdf2djvu -o out.djvu --dpi=600 input.pdf
